The guarantee of origin of electricity from renewable energy sources is a document that confirms to the customer that the amount of energy specified therein was produced by a renewable energy source.
As part of the redemption service, we purchase and redeem the guarantee of origin, completing the process by providing customers with a certificate confirming the purchase of energy generated from a renewable energy source. Such a document is particularly useful when:
- you care about protecting̨ the environment and aim to increase the amount of so-called green energy in your consumption;
- you aim to reduce emissions of pollutantś;
- you wish to reduce your so-called carbon footprint.
As part of our trading service, we transact in the Guarantees of Origin register both as a buying and selling party.
What is our goal?
With Energy Solution, companies have the opportunity to confirm to customers and business partners that their business is conducted with respect for the environment, and can use GP not only for image, but also to meet customer requirements or specific certification:
- in tenders and commercial offers;
- reports/reports, e.g. ESG;
- in compensation programs, e.g. for energy-intensive sectors and subsectors;
- in branding, expansion abroad documenting commitment to sustainability.
What kind of experience do we have?
- The total volume of trading in Guarantees of Origin by Energy Solution since the beginning of the establishment of the register (since 2015) is almost 10 TWh, of which 1.7 TWh of Guarantees of Origin have been transferred to the end user.
- Over the past three years, a jump in the number of transactions carried out is evident – from 2021 to today, the turnover amounts to 6.8 TWh.
